David Huston is a devoted family man with secret passion for
all things culinary. Shortly after graduating from
Bourbon County High School in Paris, KY, David attended the Scottsdale
Culinary Institute in Scottsdale Arizona.
Today he applies his talents to treat his family and friends
to his flawless creations both in the kitchen and off the grill.
One of the most sought after of all of his creations is what
has now come to be known as “Dave’s Beer Cheese”.
David’s love of beer cheese began as a child. Many trips
to a world famous Kentucky River Restaurant, where beer
cheese is a highlight of the meal, gave David his introduction
into what has become his passion. Years of attempting to
recreate this unique blend of cheese, “secret spices” and beer
ultimately resulted in the creation of “Dave’s Beer Cheese”.
After many years of trying to recreate the taste, the “secret
recipe” was finally revealed to David by a friend who had
obtained it from the original creator. David made a vow
to maintain the recipe as a closely guarded secret. To this day,
David has never shared the recipe with anyone, not even his wife!
